Unmissable concerts in 2021
Although as a result of the coronavirus pandemic many of the concerts scheduled for 2021 had to be cancelled or postponed to 2022, this year still has a few surprises in store for us. Check out our selection of concerts for this year and the next!
JANUARY-APRIL
Vance Joy
The Australian singer-songwriter is coming to Madrid as part of his new tour, presenting his third studio album, In Our Own Sweet Time (La Riviera. 20 April).
Birdy
The English singer and songwriter presents the tracks from her latest album, Young Heart, on this tour (La Riviera. 17 April).
Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD)
The British band is back after its 40th anniversary tour, to perform its iconic album, Architecture & Morality, and other hits (La Riviera. 16 March 2023).
Michael Bublé
The Canadian musician, winner of several Grammy and Juno Awards, is coming to Spain as part of the Higher Tour, in which he is presenting his latest album (WiZink Center. 30 January).
Lewis Capaldi
The young Scottish singer-songwriter will be performing in Madrid as part of his latest tour: Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent Tour (WiZink Center. 11 March).
Pixies
The reference group in the history of alternative rock and grunge is coming to Spain as part of its latest tour, Doggerel 2023 Europe (WiZink Center. 10 March).
Tarja
The former Nightwish vocalist is promoting her latest album: In The Raw (Teatro Kapital. 14 February 2023).
ATEEZ
The South Korean boyband announces its new tour: The Fellowship: Break The Wall, which includes a date in Madrid (WiZink Center. 28 February).
The Kooks
The British Indie rock band is celebrating the 15th anniversary of its first album, Inside In / Inside Out with a special tour (La Riviera. 25 January 2023).
The Music of THE WALL in Concert
Roger Waters is organising a tribute concert to mark the 40th anniversary of the legendary Pink Floyd tour and album (Palacio Vistalegre Arena. 19 January).
Bad Gyal
The singer-songwriter from Barcelona who merges reggaeton, dancehall and trap presents her latest albums: Warm Up and Sound System: The Final Releases (WiZink Center. 17 February).
MAY-AUGUST
Rammstein
The German metal band is back on stage with the Europe Stadium Tour, presenting its latest album, Zeit (Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium. 23 June).
Def Leppard & Mötley Crüe
The two great legends of rock and heavy metal are coming to Madrid as part of their joint world tour (Miguel Ríos Auditorium in Rivas-Vaciamadrid. 24 June 2023).
Maroon 5
The popular American band led by Adam Levine is coming to Madrid as part of its latest European tour (WiZink Center. 15 June).
Arctic Monkeys
The British rock band is coming to Madrid as part of its latest European tour in which it presents its latest album, The Car (WiZink Center. 10 and 11 July).
Rod Stewart
The British rock artist is giving a unique show in which he will perform the greatest hits of his musical career (WiZink Center. 12 July).
Anastacia
The American pop star is performing as part of her I’m Outta Lockdown - The 23rd Anniversary European tour (IFEMA Palacio Municipal. 17 July).
Joyce DiDonato
The American mezzo-soprano, who is regarded as one of the most potent female singers of her generation, returns to Madrid's opera house (Teatro Real. 5 June).
Romeo Santos
The king of bachata is coming to Spain with La Gira Fórmula VOL.3 in which he will perform all of his classics and new songs live (WiZink Center. 6, 7, 8 and 9 July).
Harry Styles
The British artist and former member of One Direction is giving a new performance in Madrid as part of his ongoing European tour, Love On Tour (Espacio Mad Cool. 14 July 2023).
YES
Saxon legends present The Album Series 2020 Tour, a tour where they will play the entire Relayer album and other classics (La Riviera. 8 May 2023).
Joe Satriani
The world renowned virtuoso instrumental rock guitarist will present his latest album on The Shapeshifting Tour (La Riviera. 2 June 2023).
The Weeknd
The Canadian artist behind great hits like Blinding Lights or Starboy is coming to Spain as part of the prolongation of the After Hours til Dawn Tour (Cívitas Metropolitano Stadium. 18 July).
