The Canadian singer and songwriter, Michael Bublé, winner of several Grammy and Juno Awards, is back in Spain with the Higher Tour. It is a concert tour in which he is presenting his latest album, Higher (2022), and will be stopping off at the WiZink Center on 30 January 2023.
The Canadian artist, Michael Bublé, has a successful musical career that began in 2003 with his album of the same name, which included a series of standards from diverse periods, including cover versions of songs like Fever or The Way You Look Tonight. Furthermore, the songs, For One in My Life and Kissing a Fool, were included on the soundtrack of the film, Down with Love, in 2003.
It was not until 2005 that the musician became a major commercial hit in the United States, thanks to his album, It's Time, of which he sold 8 million copies. It is an album that included cover versions of great songs like You Don't Know Me, Feeling Good and Quando, Quando, Quando in duet with Nelly Furtado, as the original song, Home.
His musical style, based on pop, incorporates elements of jazz, rock, swing or soul, with a strong emphasis on vocals. Bublé has won four Grammy Awards and several Juno Awards, among many other prizes. Throughout his career, spanning more than 20 years, he has gone on six world tours and sold more than 75 million albums worldwide.
The artist has more than ten studio albums, the most recent being his compilation album, The Essential (2022) and his album, Higher, released in March 2022 and which is now being presented in this tour of concerts. This latest album includes a ballad with Paul McCartney called My Valentine, produced by McCartney himself; the song, Bring It On Home to Me by Sam Cooke; and a cover version of Crazy in collaboration with Willie Nelson.
