Rammstein
Information
The German metal band is back on stage with the Europe Stadium Tour, a European tour of stadiums that will only be coming to the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium in Spain on 23 June 2023. Rammstein will present the songs from their latest studio album, Zeit, released in 2022, in addition to reviewing their greatest hits.
Formed in 1994 by the musicians, Till Lindemann, Richard Z. Kruspe, Oliver Riedel, Paul Landers, Christian Lorenz and Christoph Schneider, the band has had a successful musical career that has accumulated more than 50 million copies sold worldwide and eight studio albums and four live albums on the musical market.
Rammstein’s music is based on a trend that arose in Germany in the 1990s, known as Neue Deutsche Härte (NDH), which translates as New German Hard Core. They are the most popular exponent of this new musical genre. Their songs are written almost exclusively in German, although many of them include English, French, Russian or even Spanish.
Throughout their career, they have been nominated twice for Grammy Awards in the category of Best Metal Performance in 1999 with the song, Du hast, from the album, Sehnsucht, and in 2006 with Mein Teil, from the album, Reise, Reise.
In April 2022, the group released their eighth studio album, Zeit, and released Angst as a presentation single, a powerful ballad. This album has once more relied on the collaboration of the producer from Berlin, Olsen Involtini and was recorded at the La Fabrique studios in St. Rémy de Provence (France). Thy will present their latest material in this tour, along with a show that is characterised by fire and flames on stage, as well as a perfectly orchestrated band, humour and drama on stage.
