Joyce DiDonato
Information
The American mezzo-soprano is considered to be one of the most outstanding voices of her generation. A defender of the Baroque and bel canto repertoire, she has performed at the world’s leading auditoriums and theatres.
The Voices from the Real Cycle organised by the Teatro Real features the American singer, Joyce DiDonato (Kansas, United States, 1969). The mezzo-soprano, one of the great voices of today, will be accompanied in this recital by Maxim Emelyanychev, on the harpsichord.
Famous stages, such as the New York Metropolitan, the Paris Opera House or Covent Garden in London have seen the success of DiDonato and the acclaim he has received from the public and critics alike for his performances.
