Very close to New Ministerios, on the site of the old Teatro Espronceda, which subsequently became the TV set for Agencia EFE, this restaurant is a genuine declaration of intent in terms of sustainability, social and environmental awareness, showing that things can be done in another way that is positive for both people and the planet, and above all profitable.

Managed by Felipe Turell and Javier Antequera, through their company Proyectos Conscientes, MO de Movimiento is a restaurant that is spread over 1000 m2, serving lunches and dinners made using premium quality local, organic ingredients and artisan products. It has a large, covered terrace area, where the theatre stalls were once located, and two dome ovens where they bake their outstanding pizzas. The walls retain traces of the venue’s past, and various objects have been repurposed. Throughout the restaurant, the aim is to achieve low energy consumption.

The staff working here are from different countries and have been selected from three NGOs: Fundación Raíces, Fundación Tomillo and Norte Joven.

The QR code menu is short, simple, with plenty of seasonal and plant-based dishes, and a wide variety of sharing options.

There is also a small shop where you can buy some of its wines, oils, and breads.
