Beermad, the Madrid Craft Beer Fair, is back with its ninth edition full of new features and surprises for beer lovers. This year’s event will be held at Glass Pavilion at Casa de Campo from 12 to 15 May, where more than 170 varieties of beer can be tasted and there will also be gastronomy and leisure with diverse activities, such as concerts, workshops or tastings.

Beermad offers the opportunity to experience an authentic craft beer revolution in its purest state.  A tribute to craft beers of Madrid and the Central Area, brewers that pay attention to the slightest detail in their recipes, in their production methods and work carefully on the final presentation of their product. Furthermore, the ninth edition coincides with the San Isidro Festivities on Monday 15 May.

As usual, the latest edition will have an exhibitor area bringing together many craft brewers, including La Virgen Cerveza Pura, Founders Brewing, Nómada Brewing, Cervezas Chula Craft Beer, Cervezas La Cibeles, Cervezas Albufera, Casa de Cervezas La Charanga, AESHI, Bacterio Brewing CO and Cerveza Caleya, among many others.

More than 170 types of beer to choose from, the chance to meet the maestros behind each brand, exchange opinions, learn new concepts, find out about the tendencies for this year.

The event will have the best street food, 17 food stands that will offer a quality food service during the event. Each day, musical performances by artists of different styles can be enjoyed, such as Flamenco Fusión, Laika Stone, Javier Araujo, La Rosa Negra, Nacho Solinis Rockabilly Trio, the duo made up of Juanje Alberti and Javi Chicote, and the young Cuban artist, César Brown.

Guided tastings have also been organised in which five beers of representative styles can be sampled, as well as talks and workshops, among many other activities. There will also be children’s entertainment with face painting, storytelling, various fun games, comic strips, drawings and balloons, among other activities for small children.
