Auschwitz
More than 600 original objects are displayed in an incredible travelling exhibition about the infamous Nazi extermination camp (Canal Art Centre. Till 3 February).
Beckmann. Exile Figures
A display of more than 50 works painted by the German artist in his home country and during his years of exile (Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. 25 Oct-27 Jan).
Tamara of Lempicka. Queen of Art Déco
A solo exhibition dedicated to the Polish painter, best-known for her polished Art Deco portraits (Gaviria Palace. Extended to 26 May).
Balthus
A retrospective exhibition of one of the great masters of 20th-century art and one of the most unique painters of his time (Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. 19 Feb-26 May).
Balenciaga and Spanish Painting
An exhibition showing the connections between the fashion designer’s creations and the tradition of the Spanish painting (Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum. 18 Jun-22 Sept).
The Impressionists and Photography
