Following the success of the first and second edition, Madrid is once more hosting this festival focusing on jazz music. It is an initiative that boasts an extensive programme in various venues around the city, with Teatro Pavón as the main venue. 

The festival’s name is inspired by “La Villa” of Madrid and the acceptance of villano as a neighbour or resident of the flat state of a village or hamlet, rather than the nobility.  It seeks to bring everyone together and eliminate the music label for some elitists.  The programme presents consolidated artists and new talent and Villanos del Jazz was created with the spirit of becoming a stable cycle.
