This concert which was scheduled for 24 June 2021 has been moved to 22 June 2022

To celebrate its four decades on stage, Simple Minds is embarking upon a world tour in 2020, in which it will show that it continues to be a band touched by magic and willing to experiment without losing its original instincts. 40 Years of Hits Tour will bring the Scottish musicians to Madrid, where they will play their greatest hits at the Espacio Ibercaja Delicias.

Founded in 1977, Jim Kerr and company have been expressing genres such as post-punk, new wave or synthpop throughout their career, whereby they are considered to be one of the most influential bands of the 1980s.  

They conquered the American market and the whole world, going to the top of the charts with Don’t you (Forget about me), part of the soundtrack of the film by John Hughes, The Breakfast Club.

Furthermore, Simple Minds has more than 20 albums under its belt, whereby Sparkle in the Rain (1984), Once Upon a Time (1985), Live in the City of Light (1987), Ballad of the Streets (1989), Street Fighting Years (1989) and Glittering Prize (1992) reached Number One in the UK Charts.  

Now, with more than 60 million musical productions sold throughout their extensive career, the Scottish musicians will come to Spain to make the audience vibrate with their greatest hits.
