PRINT3D. Reprinting Reality

    The revolution that 3D printing has had on such diverse fields as medicine, art or construction and its potential uses in the future is the main topic of this exhibition presented at the Caixaforum Madrid from 8 February to 21 May.

    The exhibition consists of more than 200 pieces printed in 3D, along with their corresponding audiovisual elements and explanatory modules, through which this revolutionary technology is explored, explained in a practical and didactic way, in order to understand its numerous uses and how it is improving human life in many aspects.  

    The exhibition is divided into 8 themed areas. The first part explains what it is and how to print in 3 dimensions.  Then, the numerous advances that 3D printing is providing in healthcare are shown, such as printing prior to surgical operations or the production of customised prosthesis.
