Open Doors Days - Congress of Deputies
Information
Since 1997, the Congress of the Deputies has held open doors days to commemorate the acts of Constitution Day, 6 December (in 2022, they will be held on 2 and 3 December). Furthermore, it enables citizens to visit the most representative rooms of the Palace.
For yet another year, the Spanish Parliament celebrates its Open Doors Days during which citizens and tourists can discover first-hand the interior of the Chamber and other rooms where the highest representatives of the Spanish people work.
The route begins in the Floridablanca Courtyard. Visitors are welcomed with a freshly made coffee, chocolate or consommé to make the wait more pleasant before crossing the Gate of the Lions. The route continues through the Conference Hall, known as the Hall of Lost Steps, the Library and the Assembly Hall; on the first floor of the Palace, through the Mariana Pineda Room, and the Constitutional Chamber and the Ernest Lluch Room in the adjoining building.
The Open Doors Days can be watched live at home, via streaming on the website or the Congress’ social networks.
To attend, all you need is to present your ID Card, passport or residence card. The entrance and full route is accessible.
