    The Teatro Real hosts a concert by  the musician, Juan Valderrama, on 28 March, premièring  Diván del Tamarit in Madrid to mark the 125th anniversary of Federico García Lorca, an anthology of poems to which Carlos Cano has put the music.  

    In this new musical show, the singer from Madrid adds his personality and experience, merging the musical tradition of which he has a great deal of knowledge, along with the latest musical tendencies, offering a revamped and surprising air to this musical show. For the occasion, he is accompanied on stage by great musicians and there will be collaborations with other artists to accompany him on this special evening.

    Juan Valderrama is a singer born in Madrid in 1972. He is the son of the legends of flamenco song: Juanito Valderrama and Dolores Abril, and he has followed in the footsteps of his parents, dedicating himself to the world of shows.

    He made his debut in 2002 with La memoria del agua, an album on which he worked with Joaquín Sabina, Ana Belén and Vicente Amigo. In 2004, Alfileres was released, followed by Ilusión in 2006. Three years later, he released Moderna tradición, which was followed by Sonidos blancos in 2011, 10 años sin playback in 2012, Ambrosía in 2014, Bajo el ala del sombrero in 2016 and Mujeres de carne y verso, released in 2019.
