John Waters - False Negative
Information
As part of the Rizoma Festival, and following on from the success of his debut show in the United States, on 7 June filmmaker John Waters will be at the Teatro Cofidis Alcázar to perform a one-off stand-up gig in English with optional simultaneous translation in Spanish.
Waters will reflect on his work, fashions, crime, current conspiracies and pseudo-conspiracies, and the need to surprise crazy covid-paranoid audiences. In addition, Waters fans also have the chance to get tickets that include a Meet & Greet Group Therapy with John Waters, an intimate meeting where you can meet him in person and share with him any concerns, since everyone will be able to participate in this talk. It will last 20 minutes, will also be conducted in English in the same venue, and participants will be given a copy of his book Mr Know-It-All, published by Caja Negra.
Born in 1946 in Baltimore, USA, John Waters is a film director, actor, writer, and photographer who became famous in the 1970s thanks to his transgressive underground movies, many of them considered cult classics, such as Pink Flamingos, Female Trouble and Desperate Living, which makes up his Trash Trilogy, Cecil B.
