Joaquin Sabina, one of the best singer-songwriters of Spanish music, is returning with his new tour, Contra todo pronóstico, which will bring him to the WiZink Center on several dates scheduled for 23 and 25 May and 18 and 20 December. On this tour, the singer-songwriter will be performing around Latin America, Spain, Central America, and the United States. 

One of the most outstanding figures of contemporary Spanish music is returning to the stage after a period without any major concerts. A singer and a poet, he was in self-exile in London where he wrote his first songs, until he returned to Spain in 1977.

During those early years, he combined releasing his first solo records with performances in La Mandrágora with Javier Krahe and Alberto Pérez and writing songs for other artists. Since then he has brought out eighteen studio albums that are now part of the history of Spanish music, including Juez y parte (1985), Física y química (1992), 19 días y 500 noches (1999) and Vinagre y rosas (2009), also recording with Fito Paez and Joan Manuel Serrat. He has also released several live albums and an audiobook of recited poems.

His numerous tours have taken him to the most prestigious concert venues and festivals in the world, such as the National Auditorium in Mexico, Luna Park in Buenos Aires, and Viña del Mar in Chile, to name but a few. He has also performed at iconic European venues such as the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Olympia in Paris. The many awards and distinctions he has received over the years include the Silver Medal of Andalusia, the Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts, the Gold Medal of the City of Madrid, the Guest of Honour of the City of Buenos Aires and Montevideo, three Ondas Awards, and the Latin Grammy Award for Musical Excellence.
