#InGoya
Information
The cultural producer and manager, Yolanda Bergareche, is directing an immersive exhibition with more than 1,000 images of paintings by Goya via 35 large-format screens with a height of up to five metres. This exhibition can be seen from 5 October to 23 January at the Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa.
The gallery is divided into three spaces: didactic, emotional and a shop. In the first section, there are panels with the necessary information to understand the artist’s genius. These explanations are available in Spanish and English.
In the second area, the visitor enters Goya’s art with the help of large screens and 40 high definition projectors that represent a fusion between his paintings and modern technology. Info graph and post-production techniques are used to enable the tiniest details of each of the 150 canvases on display to be contemplated.
Finally, the shop has a collection of elegant objects designed by the same creative group that has created the exhibition. The exhibition is also accompanied by a soundtrack by Mario Gosálvez, which reproduces compositions by classic Spanish composers, such as Manuel de Falla, Isaac Albéniz, Enrique Granados or Ridolfo Luigi Boccherini.
The Cervantes Institute has collaborated in the event and its first venue was in Granada, which, despite the pandemic, was visited by more than 20,0000 people, the main authorities in the city and the autonomous community and more than 1,000 children and teenagers from educational centres.
