Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone - In Concert

The WiZink Center is hosting a special concert on 23 April in which the magic of the first film of one of the most loved and magical film sagas, Harry Potter, can be relived. Beiras Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the music by John Williams, accompanying the film directed by Chris Columbus that will be displayed on a large screen.
Thanks to this concert, the most incredible story of friendship, magic and adventures can be relived in a special concert performed by the Beiras Philharmonic Orchestra, which will play all of the songs from the film production live, which were composed by the musician who has been nominated for an Oscar on 50 occasions, John Williams.
He is a historic songwriter of film melodies who has also provided the music for films like Jaws, Indiana Jones or Jurassic Park. In them, the influence of classic composers, such as Richard Strauss, or more contemporary ones, such as Erich Korngold and Max Steiner, can be highlighted.
Justin Freer, President of CineConcerts, is the producer and director of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone in Concert. In collaboration with Warner Bros, this series of concerts from the Harry Potter saga is being taken to numerous international cities to pay tribute to The Harry Potter Film Concert Series saga. More than 90 musicians will perform this magical soundtrack live, whilst spectators will be able to watch the story simultaneously on a large screen.
The film tells how an eleven year old boy, Harry Potter, discovers that he is the son of two leading wizards, from whom he has inherited magical powers. To develop his magical education, he is sent to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
