From 22 March to 28 August, Fundación Mateo Inurria Canal is hosting an exhibition that looks back at the history of photography in the 20th Century through a selection of works from The Howard Greenberg Gallery archive. The exhibition features 111 images by great photographers such as Berenice Abbott, Diane Arbus, Bruce Davidson, and more.

Curated by Anne Morin and organised by Fundación Canal in collaboration with diChroma photography, this exhibition includes a selection of images that have rarely been shown in public.

A look back at the history of photography, featuring works by 66 great photographers such as Berenice Abbott, Manuel Álvarez Bravo, Diane Arbus, Bruce Davidson, William Eggleston, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, Eugène Atget, Robert Capa, Elliott Erwitt, Helmut Newton, Vivian Maier, and Man Ray. A trip through time from 1900 to the start of the 21st century, through the personal vision of curator Anne Morin, director of diChroma photography.

The Howard Greenberg Gallery is a major reference for international photography in the 20th Century that has been developing its archive for over 40 years and has promoted great talent. It currently has about 30,000 copies of photographs taken by the best photographers of the 20th century which are not usually exhibited publicly since they are part of the private collection circuit.
