Conception
Information
The Norwegian metal band has suffered many comings and goings since its creation in 1989. After 21 years without activity, they decided to rejoin in 2018 and continue with their career. In their new stage they have released many songs that are part of the EP Re: Conception and an album My dark symphony. This time they will present their latest work in concert, State of Deception, a concert to be held at Shôko Madrid on April 28th, 2023.
The Norwegian band was formed in 1989, but it wasn't until 1990 that they released their first demo. Since then, the band has undergone many changes in members; the first to leave the group was vocalist Dag Otsby, so they were forced to look for a new singer, but it didn't take long to find one. Roy Khan, an artist with an operatic background, took over and with this formation they recorded their first album, The Last Sunset, in 1993.
In 1997, four years after releasing their first album, the band decided to split up, although not for long, as eight years later they decided to join up again to perform two concerts in 2005. Three years later, the original members of the metal band got together to release an EP and an album after 21 years of inactivity.
