Catarina, la cabra cantarina (The Singing Goat)

The Zaguán Theatre and Music Company is performing a puppet show for all the family on 23 and 24 October at the Circo Price Theatre which teaches children about social diversity and people with special abilities.
The main character is Catarina, a unique goat, who, together with her classmates, faces the biggest threat to her life: Anquilina, the eagle. As soon as she leaves school, she embarks on an adventure that will change the way she relates to others.
Through different scenes, songs and twists in the plot, the show highlights the reality of people with different types of disabilities, in particular those with autism, immersing the audience in their way of life.
Zaguán is a company created in 1994 and based in Madrid, which is made up of artists of diverse nationalities and a variety of disciplines, which merges different stage genres, such as theatre, music, plastic arts or poetry in order to build a better world through education in the fundamental values.
With a career spanning more than 25 years, and specialised in children’s theatre, it has developed around twenty productions, published six books and released four CDs. Some of its most famous productions are La Vuelta al mundo en un cocodrilo (Around the World in a Crocodile), La mochila del juglar (The Minstrel’s Backpack) or Fermín y el libro saltarín (Fermín and the Jumping Book).
