Torre Titania

    Information

Construction work began on this tower 103 metres high and 27 floors (5 of which are underground and are used for parking), after the Torre Windsor, which previously stood on this site, was ravaged by fire in 2005. It is located in the surroundings of the AZCA business centre, in Nuevos Ministerios.

Inaugurated in 2011, it is a transparent tower made from metal and glass in different shades of green, topped with a backlit cylinder. The current owner of the land and who commissioned the construction of the tower, El Corte Inglés, opened the extension of its Paseo de Castellana shopping centre in the new skyscraper, which is adjacent to the building and occupies 7 floors. The remaining floors are used for offices.

The Titania Tower was designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating the latest technologies that guarantee greater energy efficiency while respecting the environment. Its glass cylinder, thanks to its orientation, has a modular system for solar control and incorporates photovoltaic cells for the production of clean energy. It also has automatic lighting systems based on movement, free-cooling systems for air conditioning, the use of low-consumption lamps and systems for the efficient use of water, which reduce its energy consumption.
