Torre de Cristal is one of Madrid’s most elegant skyscrapers. It stands 249 metres tall and has 50 storeys. It was designed by the Argentinean architect, César Pelli, who was also responsible for the construction of the Petronas Towers in Malaysia. The building was designed as a delicate and vivacious crystalline sculpture with ascending shapes that take your eyes to the summit, where there is a 600 square metre garden. 

The building, located in the Cuatro Torres Business Area, was conceived as a crystalline sculpture, delicate and lively, with ascending forms that take our eyes to the summit, where the largest vertical garden in Europe is located, which, at 30 metres high, allows us to enjoy a great variety of trees and vegetation. Designed by the French botanist Patrick Blanc, it has a system for feeding the plants without the need for the traditional soil substrate.
