Puppet Theatre in El Retiro Park
Information
Within the El Retiro park, very close to the entrance from the Plaza de la Independencia by the Puerta de Alcalá, is the Teatro de Títeres, an institution for young audiences in Madrid.
It has a permanent annual programme that is held outdoors and is free of charge. There is a performance every weekend throughout the year (with special dates at Christmas), in the mornings in winter and in the afternoons in summer.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, the programme may be cancelled without prior notice.
