    Information

The Persépolis International Association, which is in the centre of Madrid, is a not-for-profit organisation that aims to create, promote and educate on different aspects of Iranian and Persian culture.

Persépolis was founded in 2006 to promote cultural exchange in Madrid and to introduce the culture of both Ancient Persia and modern-day Iran through literature, architecture, customs, popular festivities, music and so on.

Its activities include musical performances, film screenings, recitals and even the celebration of ancient and traditional ceremonies such as dance shows, handcraft workshops and arts. Exhibitions and conferences are also some of the cultural centre’s main activities.
