Grassy Clock Museum
Information
The Grassy Clock Museum, located in Sol / Gran Vía, is inaugurated in 1953 to house the collection assembled by Alejandro Grassy, founder of the house and passionate about clocks.
Some of the pieces come from from the collection of Francisco Perez de Olaguer-Feliu, mostly French, English and German. The rest are various examples of diverse origins. In this museum you can follow the history of mechanical clock making since the first pieces of iron mechanisms in the sixteenth century to the nineteenth century Empire style. These are all objects produced by both art and technology, and they are "live clocks" fully functional or operational.
