Galería Hilario Galguera
Information
Founded by Hilario Galguera and Rosa María Ortega, this gallery first opened in 2006 in Mexico City as a space to discuss and promote contemporary Mexican and international art. Since then, it has exhibited and promoted the work of artists who offer relevant and complex proposals on a conceptual, social, political, and formal level, characterised also by their aesthetic rigour and precision. The gallery emphasises the importance of public, editorial, and institutional projects, key activities in terms of its contribution to and engagement of the public.
Galería Hilario Galguera is currently operating in Mexico City, and since 6 September 2022 in Madrid as well.
