Centro cultural Pilar Miró

    Information

    This cultural centre, located in the municipality of Vallecas, offers a wide variety of workshops, temporary exhibitions, dance and theatre performances, as well as a complete cultural programme.

    It has a theatre with a capacity of 194 seats, which forms part of the Community of Madrid Network of Theatres.  Its spaces are open to professional companies that wish to hold artistic and technical residences in theatre, music and dance.  It also has four rehearsal establishments with amplifiers and drums for music groups, which are on loan for free.

    Theatre, clown, tai-chi, ceramic, belly dancing, painting, plastic arts, drawing and magic workshops are held at Pilar Miró.  Various activities in collaboration with neighbourhood and cultural associations are also offered.

    There are three spaces equipped to hold exhibitions, a cyberspace with free access to Internet, where diverse digital alphabetisation workshops are held, as well as a cafeteria.
