Biblioteca Musical Victor Espinós

    Information

    This library, located in the Conde Duque Cultural Centre, was founded in 1919 at the suggestion of Víctor Espinós, conceived as a Mobile Musical Library. This centre was created for the dissemination and promotion of musical education, and from its inception it has aimed to provide a public service, open to all kinds of users. 

    The library offers an essential bibliographic collection specialised in music with monographs, scores,  audiovisual teaching methods and audiovisual and sound registers in a wide variety of mediums, as well as an exceptional collection of musical instruments on loan. 

    It has different free public services: lending of books, scores and audiovisual material, instruments on loan at home, 15 music rehearsal cabins (6 individual cabins with a piano, 6 individual cabins for an instrument, 1 individual cabin with double bass, 2 cabins for groups of 2 to 4 people with a piano), 30 reading points and an activity room. Rehearsal rooms have ben opened for rock groups or similar and choirs.
