Pista de Skateboard Ignacio Echevarría “El héroe del monopatín”

    Located in Arganzuela district, close to Matadero Madrid, this skate park and roller rink is one of the most visited sports facilities in Madrid Río and can be used by people of all ages completely free of charge. The park bears the name of Ignacio Echevarría, the young man who died in the London attacks in June 2017 after saving several lives by confronting the terrorists only with the help of a skateboard.

    Covering 2,315 m2, the facility consists of a skate park with 829 m2 of curve space and other 867 m2 or flat surface. It has two bowls: one closed with heights between 1.5 and 2 m, and an open one with different elements like rainbows and dunes of different heights.

    The roller rink has 619 m2.
