Kitschy

    Information

This special bakery with a kitsch decor, located in the Argüelles neighborhood, offers delicious signature desserts by Carme Serrano, a Cordon Bleu Madrid school graduate. She fuses French pastries with products and tastes from Italy, Mexico and Peru adding her own twist.

The bakery has a retro and vintage decoration in pastel colors. The central wall has a mural painted by Gloria Pampilón depicting icons like Chus Lampreave, Marilyn Monroe, Frida Kahlo and Liz Taylor. The pastries elaborated on the spot can be sampled in the bakery as it has a café area with several tables and chairs.

The menu includes all kinds of deserts like choco-chill cake, passion fruit croissants, sweet rolls with yuzu and parmesan cheese cookies; and drinks like coffee, milk shakes, lemonade or chicha morada, a typical Peruvian drink.
