Joaquín Berao

    Information

Joaquín Berao is one of the most recognized jewelry designers in Spain. Born in Madrid in 1945, he began to work as an apprentice in a family jewelry workshop at fifteen years of age, where he spent five years learning the art of traditional jewelry.

Since 1975, his collections of jewelry and accessories have acquired international recognition for their sculptural shapes and the unusual treatment of materials.

He moved to the shop in Lagasca street in the year 2013, a space that he decorated himself, with particular involvement in the design of the floor and furniture, creating a space appropriate for his jewellery.
