Central de la Victoria Pharmacy
Information
It has stood at number 6 on Calle Victoria since the middle of the 19th century, on the site of the Convent and Church of Our Lady of Victory. The white medicine jars come from the Olmedilla family’s own pottery.
Ildefonso Heras created “HUROL”, which “eliminates products from tobacco which be harmful to health” and which acted as publicity for the pharmacy and was displayed in red lettering on the glass facade. The white marble counter also dates from that time, now the property of Francisca Yeste Moreno. The premises are small in size, with white wooden furniture and glass shelves over a mirrored background, with a white marble-topped wooden counter and red wooden doorway.
