Estanislao Rodríguez

    Information

One can feel history in its interior, where thousands of antique and old books on poetry, art or essay are piled up, some of which are out of print or rare, all of them compiled in two catalogues every year.

Estanislao Rodríguez’s bookstore started out in the 1920’s on calle Abada and then moved to calle San Bernardo in 1935. It has been there for six decades, also hosting literary gatherings for intellectuals and bibliophiles of the time, like Enrique Herreros, a regular at this house.

Its counters have already seen three generations go by and, from its present location on calle Marqués de Zafra, Estanislao Rodríguez maintains its tradition as a bookstore specialized in tauromachy, with antique copies as well as the latest novelties in the bull-fighting world, posters, decks, photographs, paintings, programmes and even ticket collections.
