Ugo Chan

    Information

Close to Plaza de Castilla, right by Paseo de la Castellana, you will find this restaurant that opened in November 2021 and which, since then (with the recommendation of chef Dabiz Muñoz no less) has enjoyed great success culminating with a Michelin star awarded in the 2023 Guide. It is headed up by chef Hugo Muñoz who, after his time at Carbón negro, Kabuki Wellington, Viridiana, KaButoKaji and Umo, among others, offers his unique vision of Japanese dishes, fused with Madrid and Spanish cuisine.

Ugo Chan (the pet name the chef's grandfather used to call him when he was small) is a contemporary restaurant, an open plan space with a minimalist aesthetic and an open kitchen, dining area, and two bars where you can also eat.

The menu focuses above all on seasonal produce, so they regular change the dishes served. You can choose to eat a la carte or try an Omakase tasting menu curated by the chef according to your individual personal tastes. The food is complemented by a careful selection of wines.
