Puertalsol

    Information

The fifth floor of El Corte Inglés in Puerta del Sol is home to this traditional Madrid restaurant managed by the well-known chefs Alberto Chicote and Pedro Olmedo.

This restaurant, serving tapas, larger dishes and stews, offers over 90 proposals grouped in different blocks: cured meats and cheeses, pickled and smoked fish, canned goods, toasted sandwiches, individual tapas, salads, and 'chargrilled' dishes, among others, although its extensive menu also includes some outstanding traditional recipes such as chargrilled chicken, rice and vegetables, Russian salad with tuna, smoked cod, prime rib of beef, rabbit in a tomato sauce, fried pork scratchings, and Madrid style tripe stew.

This restaurant, spread over 500 square metres, can seat up to 150 people in a space that is divided into two areas: an interior space and a large terrace with spectacular views of the Puerta del Sol and the busy Calle Preciados.
