Chef Dave Cheng and his wife, head waitress Xiang Xu, are the married couple behind this restaurant specialising in popular Hong Kong cuisine, which offers a menu full of traditionally-prepared Hong Kong-style dishes made at the time of order, which achieve flavours akin to those of the owners’ homeland.
The restaurant’s culinary offerings are notably low in fat, made with fresh ingredients that have never been frozen. Everything is cooked in a healthy manner, from the sauces to the spring roll dough.
Particularly outstanding dishes include the Hong Kong-style broth, the cockles with black beans, the curried ribs with a crunchy garlic crust and the Li Shan free-range chicken, battered in potato starch.
