Located in a former hardware store founded in 1888 on Calle de Atocha, this restaurant serves traditional Spanish dishes, made using premium quality products, where typical Spanish cured ham occupies pride of place. Whether it’s an aperitif or dinner, here you can enjoy the most select flavours of Spain’s gastronomy.

The restaurant has retained the look of the old hardware store. There is a lobby area where you can enjoy an aperitif, and which leads into an area with high and low tables, and food prepared in a wood-burning stove. The ground floor has several vaulted rooms that can be booked privately, with exposed brick walls dating back to the 17th century.

The gastronomic proposal of La Ferretería consists of tapas such as Iberian ham croquettes or Cecina from Leon, sardine fillets from the Bay of Biscay cured in brine, and pickled mussels from Galicia, among many other offerings. It also serves a wide variety of international cocktails created by mixologist Adam Varga.
