Chow Chow
Information
As part of the Rantanplan hotel group, this restaurant presents a high quality fusion of Japanese-Latin cuisine, in which traditional and elegant Japanese cuisine dressed with the happy and colourful flavours of Latin American cuisine can be savoured. All of this is offered by Chef Álex Moranda, who trained in Japan and has experience in leading restaurants in London and Madrid.
Located in Avenida de Concha Espina, 55, the restaurant has capacity for 70 diners, and is divided into a main dining room and a Japanese conservatory, at the entrance to the restaurant. The interior design by María Villalón was inspired by Japanese minimalism.
The menu offers dishes such as the trio of lobster mini tacos with tobiko mayonnaise and lime, jowls in mole poblano and sour cream and Peruvian-style salmon; Mini beef arepas with rocoto and yuzu sauce; Wagyu A‐5 strips with hot yellow pepper sauce, sweet potato and garlic chips; or Hamachi Usuzukuri, ponzu, jalapeno pepper and cilantro. Not to mention the Konros, individual mini Japanese grills, a wide range of nigiris and rolls, and a selection of desserts.
