La Boiga Taberna
Information
A great selection of wines, and beef and pork products from Extremadura and Salamanca, are the main lure of this bar, where you can enjoy tapas in the bar area or a more relaxed meal on the lower floor, which is decorated simply in a modern yet cosy way.
The menu, created by chef Astrid Vega, from El Salvador, focuses on premium quality ingredients. Meat directly from its own slaughterhouse, where the cuts are matured until optimum point. Customers can enjoy steak tartar, entrecote, or a beef or veal T-bone steak, along with a selection of Iberian charcuterie. The menu also includes fish and seafood, with dishes such as langoustine tartar and creamy white asparagus, or oven-baked hake. There are also entrées, rice dishes, and homemade desserts.
Wine is the star of the menu, with a selection of over 200 national and international wines, served by the glass.
La Boiga also has a shop where you can buy its products, La Boiga Despensa, at Number 42, Calle Diego de León.
