El Barrio, the flamenco singer from Cadiz, is embarking on a new tour to present his latest studio album, Atemporal, live on 22 December at the WiZink Center. It is an album made up of thirteen unpublished tracks and an instrumental song in which the artists returns to his past and brings remnants from his former albums.

José Luis Figuereo Franco, better known as El Barrio, is considered to be one of the most relevant and influential artists on the national music scene. His career began more than two decades ago and he has not ceased to surprise album after album since then.  He has remained at the top of the charts since his first album, Yo Sueno Flamenco, until the present day.

His 2014 album, Hijo de Levante, was awarded three Platinum Discs.  A year later, he released Esencia, a CD recorded live at the emblematic Teatro Real in Madrid, accompanied by a gospel choir.  Following the success of Las costuras del alma and El danzar de las mariposas, he is back with Atemporal.

It is his style that makes him so special and what has led him to stand out from the crowd.  In his music, he is capable of combining different influences, masterfully using lyrics to relate contemporary and everyday themes in an up close and personal way, which makes us identify with each of his stories.
