Welcome to Madrid

Paseo de Recoletos​ is hosting the 37th edition of the Madrid Arts and Crafts Fair, which has over the years become an important exhibition of artisan gift items and a major showcase for regional arts and crafts.

Since its creation, over 2000 workshops and ateliers have contributed to the consolidation of this showcase for authentic arts and crafts. The organisation of this event is in the hands of the most representative Artisan Associations in the region of Madrid: Asociación Profesional de Artesanos de la Villa and Gremio de Artesanías Varias.

Artisan workshops are taking part in this latest edition of the Fair, the majority from the Region of Madrid, although there are also representatives from other regions of Spain, displaying their handmade items for sale. Through their traditional craftsmanship and their uniqueness, these workshops have made the Fair a major reference point and an unmissable event for arts and crafts in Spain. 

The participants include representatives from a wide variety of artisan trades such as ceramicists, potters, costume jewellers, leather goods makers, engravers, precious metal jewellers and silversmiths, fabric decorators, hatters, toymakers, and artistic glassmakers, among others.
