Shared Motorbikes in Madrid

Motorbike enthusiasts are in luck because Madrid is one of the European cities with the most vehicles of this type to share (or perhaps it has the most), with a fleet in excess of 5,000 vehicles. In addition to being easy to use, the motorbike sharing services provide users with cheap access to a two-wheeled vehicle for a specific period of time, easily resolving temporary mobility problems. Furthermore, the motorbikes are environmentally friendly, reducing the ecological footprint caused by fossil fuels, as 97% of the services offer electric vehicles. Therefore, the implementation of this type of platforms is continuing to grow.

A large fleet of motorbikes is available to you after downloading the applications that operate this service. By just registering your personal details and introducing your bank account number and driving license number, you can access a large number of motorbikes that are distributed around the city.

Designed for short trips, the cost of the service depends on the minutes that the motorbike is in use. The price depends on the company you choose, but there is an average rate of around €5 for a 20-minute trip.

How does the service work? Using the application for which you have registered, search for the nearest vehicle to you and book it. Later, you must return it within the geographic limits in which the platform operates. All of the motorbikes are equipped with a helmet and, sometimes with two helmets, so you do not need to worry about this safety element. They are generally electric scooters so fuel is not required.
