Welcome to Madrid
In Pau de Carabanchel, very close to La Peseta metro station, this culinary school offers a wide variety of courses on international cuisine, nutrition, food and cooking techniques, as well as themed workshops and various activities for all ages.
Conversa promotes healthy eating habits, using top quality, fresh and seasonal products, paying special attention to local produce.
The school offers all kinds of courses: basic and advanced, for families and children, Spanish cuisine for foreigners, as well as renting its space for private events or children's birthdays. Workshops for schools and institutes are also offered. To do so, they have international teaching staffs who are experts in the cuisine of each of their countries of origin.
Weekly cooking courses for foreigners are taught in Spanish or English for beginners and those who are more skilled in the kitchen. There are courses to learn how to make some of the most popular tapas, a good paella and how to taste Spanish wines and cheeses.
The centre also has a small shop where many products related to cooking can be found, ranging from Moroccan linen and cotton tablecloths or ceramics from different origins to artisan beers and organic olive oils.
