Welcome to Madrid

Chef Alberto Chicote and Inmaculada Núñez present their most personal project to date in this restaurant, which opened in July 2022 in the Barrio de Salamanca neighbourhood, where they offer cuisine without limits or preconceptions, giving free reign to their creative freedom and the pursuit of excellence.

The premises in which Omeraki is located are large and spacious. To gain entrance to the restaurant, you must first walk through a hallway with an extensive culinary library. The main restaurant is light, bright, and cosy, where wood is used to great effect to make this large space warm and welcoming. The tables are made from reclaimed beams that once supported an emblematic building in Zamora, known as “Las Cariátides”.

The two large skylights cut into the ceiling are made from glass and solar panels that help to reduce energy consumption and, at the same time, prevent sunlight from creating too much glare on the tables below. They also cast interesting shadows and light that are in constant movement, creating the feeling of being in a space that is perpetually moving and alive.

Their culinary proposal is based on two set menus prepared each week with fresh seasonal ingredients. There is a shorter menu, Festival, and another longer one, Homenaje. Although they are set menus, the kitchen can adapt to the needs or tastes of individual diners.
