Welcome to Madrid
Set in the heart of Madrid’s Chamberí neighbourhood, at this traditional bar you can enjoy a good glass of wine with tapas or traditional dishes made using the finest ingredients. The name Azumbre is an old word for a measure of wine, and it embodies the philosophy and identity of this space.
The menu includes a wide variety of pickles and salted preserves, cured meats, traditional dishes, artisan cheese, and many other delicious offerings. It also offers a wonderful array of Spanish wines.
The interior decor, with shades of blue on the walls, wooden floors, and marble details, offers a cosy welcoming environment where diners feel right at home. If you fancy soaking up the ambience of the local area while you eat, you can sit out on its terrace and watch the world go by on Calle Eduardo Dato, right by Beti Jai Pelota court and the former Chamberí train station.
