Welcome to Madrid

The San Isidro neighbourhood is home to this artistic and independent space, located in a former workshop and created by the artists, Carlos Cartaxo and Sandra Val in 2018, along with Óscar Seco, Luis Miguel Rico and Juan Isaac Silva. It seeks to act as a catalyst for Madrid’s cultural scene, adding to the artistic tissue that has been forged in different areas of Carabanchel in recent years.

Corner Gallery & Studio serves as a meeting point for dialogue between different cultural agents, with the purpose of promoting activities and programmes related to contemporary creation.  In addition to being a self-run artistic production studio, Corner promotes the work of other creators in the area thanks to its small exhibition hall, as well as encouraging meetings and debate.
