Welcome to Madrid

Located in the Carabanchel district, this contemporary art gallery can boast of being the largest in Madrid.  Run by the Madrid gallery owner, Fer Francés, the work of consolidated international artists can be discovered, as well as works by today’s most promising young creators.

Veta Galería is located in a 1,200 square metre industrial warehouse close to the Plaza Elíptica, from which it aims to transform the contemporary art scene in Madrid. Artists whose work has been exhibited include Abraham Lacalle, Matías Sánchez and Santiago Ydáñez.

Fer Francés has curated stands at national and international art fairs and has worked at leading galleries, such as the XL Gallery in Moscow, Tim Van Laere Gallery in Antwerp or David Zwirner. Eight years ago, he joined forces with Javier López, who founded his gallery 24 years ago, to turn it into Javier Lopez & Fer Francés, one of the most internationally recognised galleries thanks to its innovative proposal.
