Located in the heart of Chamberí, this cultural venue was created to become a meeting place for training, exhibitions, and the interconnection of social, cultural and leisure processes. It develops training activities in different artistic and cultural areas for all ages, and also offers a stage for theatrical proposals, small concerts, dance, video and film sessions, interactive participation activities…

La Strada is an open and accessible space that engages members of the public. The cultural areas covered include the plastic arts; the visual arts; the performing arts, music and dance; crafts; meetings, literary and history conferences and talks; leisure and free time activities; library; art appreciation school, etc.

The venue also offers several bespoke cultural and recreation services, aimed at companies looking to run these kinds of events, supporting certain initiatives launched by associations by providing technical advice, and through the allocation of spaces, material and human resources.

La Lavandería theatre school is also located within La Strada.
