Welcome to Madrid

This recently inaugurated green space is located next to the Caleido Tower and the Cuatro Torres Business Area and leads on to the Caleido complex.  Its surface area spanning more than 33,000m2 in extension is divided into rest areas, spaces to practise sport, children’s play areas , spaces for art and leisure and walkways.

The park is fully accessible and sustainable, as it has lighting, irrigation and rainwater re-use systems that contribute towards minimising its impact and facilitate the use of natural resources to obtain maximum efficiency in its design, use and maintenance.

The Caleido Park is a north-south and east-west crossroads, linking two spaces that were previously disconnected, such as the Paseo de la Castellana and the natural spaces to the west of the park, above Avenida de Monforte de Lemos.

560 trees and 14,000m2 of bushes have been planted throughout the park, creating rest areas with and without shade so that they can be used all year round.  The sloping land has been used to create terraces which can also be used as improvised open-air auditoriums.
