Breakery

    Information

The prestigious pastry chef Oriol Balaguer runs this gastronomic space located in the lobby of the Hotel Only You Atocha, opposite Madrid's train station. With a New York look and feel, this bakery offers a variety of breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas, and savoury proposals to enjoy throughout the day.

At Breakery you can enjoy a selection of Balaguer's cakes and pastries throughout the day, including his award-winning butter croissants, his famous puff pastry palmiers, and his apple cremadillo. In the mornings, the menu is served throughout the ground floor of the hotel, with show cooking included, offering a la carte breakfasts prepared on the spot in full view of the customer. And in the afternoon, you can enjoy a wide selection of individual cakes and all kinds of pastries and confections made at Balaguer’s bakery. There are also vegan options available.

In addition, the Catalan chef creates all the desserts for the hotel’s other restaurants: “Trotamundos” and “Sép7ima”.

Breakery also offers home delivery through Glovo.

Balaguer has received numerous awards throughout his career, such as Best Artisan Croissant 2014, Best Panettone 2017, and the AIG Prix National in 2017. In September 2019, he joined the prestigious international association Relais Desserts.
