Cine Yelmo Luxury Palafox

    Information

Opened in 1962, this emblematic cinema in the Chamberí neighbourhood, the second largest in the city, was completely renovated after its closure in 2017. It now forms part of the Luxury model offered by the Yelmo cinema chain, the current owner of the space, which consists of a fusion of film and gastronomy. Its programme includes some sessions in V.O.S.E.

The cinema has large, fully reclining seats to lie back and relax while watching the film. The space between the rows is larger than in other cinemas, and there is a table with a small lamp between the seats to facilitate visibility until the film starts. There is also a waiter call button at each seat and a folding table. Once the screening has begun, the hall is darkened and the waiters offer direct service to the seats for the first 15 minutes, although the bar, located in the lobby, will remain open all the time.

While watching the film, some of the dishes on the menu, such as mini hamburgers, crêpes or Iberian cured meats can be savoured, or a drink can be enjoyed.
